LCT at the Kirkstall Festival on Saturday 9 July 2011

Kirkstall Festivall – Saturday 9 July, 11am-6pm
We have booked a stall to help promote our November 2011 production of “The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe”, as well as the society in general. Members willing to help for an hour or so please email/contact us asap.
If you’re planning to visit we are stall A9. Admission is free [you can buy a programme to support the Festival if you want to], and there’s free parking as well.

If you’re a member of the society and you can’t make the auditions but want to be considered for a part you need to contact the director Ian Goodison asap. Rehearsals start asap, but there will be a break during the summer.
All adults cast will need to apply for an enhanced CRB check, and we will apply for child performance licences for all school children cast.
Performances are 16-19 November 2011, incl a matinee on 19th.

We can confirm that we will be performing Upstairs@thecarriageworks in March 2012 – our first time in the studio space. Exciting!

Saturday workshops over Easter

Message to members:
In response to recent queries, Saturday workshops will be running as normal right up until the Summer holidays, so there’s no break over the Easter or the Bank Holiday.

At the AGM in July we will be electing new Officers and committee members. A number of members are not standing for reelection this year, so if you’re a member of LCT and want to get more involved helping out behind the scenes get in touch with anyone on the committee, or email Karen or Lou asap. A list of committee positions is on the website if you want to check it out.
We always need volunteers to help with publicity as well!
